The White album came out the year I was born and it really was the soundtrack for my childhood and early teens especially. The depth and breadth of the songs are really unmatched. I think it has Lennon's best songs that he did in the Beatles, and while there are some songs that I just find annoying, like Rocky Raccoon and Bungalow Bill, it is such a strong musical statement that I really think it's their best work.
